Ethanol Means Cleaner Air, Less Reliance on Foreign Oil, and Economic Opportunity

SB 138 was adopted by the House today and it’s a very good thing for Colorado skies, energy independence and income. Take a look at the article in the Colorado Daily. In it, Sen. Brandon Shaffer’s quoted as saying, “ethanol burns much more cleanly than gasoline. It’s better for our air and better for our environment.”

Ethanol also offers economic opportunity around the state. Read the Sterling Journal Advocate’s “energy boomlet could really help rural CO.” For a wider-angle look at where ethanol might take the nation, read “Ethanol’s Promise” in the New York Times.
