Senate Says No to Saving for a Rainy Day

The Senate State Veteran and Military Affairs Committee pulled the plug on HB 1050 this morning. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Bernie Buescher of Grand Junction, would have set up a rainy day fund for future economic downturns. The clock hasn’t completely run out on this bill, but we’re in the final moments.
