CO Democrats Act on Immigration while Congress Discusses

Even though immigration is primarily a national issue, our state legislators racked up more immigration reform bills than ever before. If Gov. Owens decides to sign the legislation the General Assembly passed, smuggling people will be a felony, the Colorado State Patrol will have a special immigration enforcement unit, and our tax dollars won’t be knowingly spent to pay illegal immigrants.
