Rep. Judy Solano: Protecting Public's Paramount
“Protecting the public is the most important thing any government can do, and we achieved real progress on that front this year,” wrote Rep. Judy Solano. She continued, “Identity theft is now a felony. Colorado has the dubious honor of belonging to the Meth Belt, but by helping local law enforcement with strengthened laws and prevention tactics, we’re dropping our membership. A bill I sponsored establishes a Methamphetamine Task Force to examine meth manufacturing, distribution and abuse in Colorado; programs for the prevention of, intervention in and treatment of meth abuse; and tougher laws.”
