Victory for Vulnerable Seniors

If you’ve been really lucky (or if you’re still unbearably young), it’s hard to imagine being 82, living alone and relying on the community for lunch, a place to go, a legal opinion, or a ride to the grocery store. Still, thousands of Colorado seniors count on local agencies for such services and Rep. Jim Riesberg’s made their lives just a bit sweeter.

Rep. Jim Riesberg, Colorado House of RepresentativesHB 1018, signed by the governor on May 17, increases funding to the Older Coloradans Cash Fund and goes into effect on July 1. And whether you’re a senior, or some day plan to be, you can thank Rep. Jim Riesberg of Greeley.
