Ethanol = Economic Opportunity & Clearer Skies
Trying to avoid a repeat of last year’s veto frenzy, papers and people all over the state are urging the governor to sign the legislation our representatives passed. From John Cevette in the Greeley Tribune:
While the legislature worked quickly to pass legislation to assure ethanol has a place in the Colorado market, Gov. Bill Owens works assiduously to communicate he plans to veto the legislation.Politically tone deaf to the people of Colorado, amazingly, the governor is turning a deaf ear to his ole White House pal, George W. The president recently said, “Anyone who doesn’t support ethanol just doesn’t get it.”
We get it, now make sure he gets it; urge Gov. Owens to sign Senate Bill 138.
