What You Don't Know Can Kill You
Rep. Paul Weissmann’s HB 1278 makes it easier for Coloradans to get crucial information about hospitals—before they check in. Starting this fall, Coloradans will be able to check the hospital report card to compare and contrast the number of deaths, outbreak of infectious diseases and average rates of stay per patient.
The governor signed the bill on Friday, so now you no longer need to know someone who knows someone to get the skinny on the hospitals in your area.
